About Productos Diana
Productos Diana is the market leader in the Central America Region for snacks and confectionery. The company started 70 years ago at El Salvador, in a garage producing snacks. In less than a decade, Productos Diana started exporting their goods to the region and 20 years later to the US. Productos Diana started their journey to the Cloud in the middle of the World Wide Pandemic Crisis starting with S3 and Transfer Family services and with development environments. At the beginning of 2021, Productos Diana launched their first production workload using EC2 / SQL Server instances for business analytics and, by the end of the year, launched a new workload using serverless compute services to validate invoices with EL Salvador Tax Revenue Service. By mid 2022 Diana accelerated their migration pace, with two new workloads, HR and Logistics Applications.
THE CHALLENGE
As the business increased its demand for new solutions and new applications, Diana`s IT Staff needed to respond fast with robust and reliable compute services to meet their business needs.
THE SOLUTION
Through the analysis of the characteristics of the specific workloads and with the help of Nubosperta, Productos Diana`s IT Staff accelerated their Cloud Adoption Strategy responding to business requirements using AWS Dedicated EC2 instances and Serverless compute services.
