THE CHALLENGE
As technology of storage solutions changes, Profuturo changed the way they backup their information. Then the solution offered was to backup their NAS to Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3).
THE SOLUTION
Their data was copied from their NAS to an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) repository, created in the Oregon region. The information is backed up from their Veritas directly to Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) user with politics as this is the best practice.

Cost Efficiency
Profuturo did not have to invest a huge amount of money buying another NAS or any physical infrastructure wich will not been used 100%.
Data Backup
The need Profuturo had was totally covered as they free space of their NAS and have a second backup into Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) repositories .
Security of data backup
Veritas is used as the secure tool to upload data from their NAS to the Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket. Veritas work with access to AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) User which has specific policy.
